Sunderland boss Roy Keane says Irish striker Roy O'Donovan has a long-term future at the club.
"Remember, this is his first season in English football and there's a lot to adjust to.
"He's like a few players who have maybe suffered a little this season by being played out of position.
"I include Michael Chopra and Daryl Murphy in that too because, in quite a few games, we've only played one up front.
"There's no doubt that Roy can still contribute out on the right, but long-term I see him playing in the position that he joined the club in, playing as a striker.
"Because there's no doubt, when you see him in training, that he is a goal threat."
