Sunderland boss Roy Keane is delighted to have Paul McShane available again for today's derby against Newcastle United.

Keane has singled out McShane, a Republic of Ireland international, as someone who will thrive in the derby atmosphere.

"It's good to have Paul back. He's got the potential to be a leader at this football club," said the Sunderland manager.

"We have been short in numbers but we have a few back now and it gives me one or two problems when it comes to team selection."
