Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean says his new signings will not block the progress of their young players.
Rovers should complete the loan signing of Schalke forward Jermaine Jones, 29, today and Kean wants more new faces on board.
He said: "We have a lot of good young players coming through, so if we can add one or two it'll be an exciting time. We will keep on trying to add quality.
"The owners are very enthusiastic and want to be involved with everything at the club. They are going to back the signings we want to make and they can only be good for the club."
