Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean believes fans should be satisfied with their performance in defeat to Tottenham.
Despite the result, Kean feels Rovers fans should take heart from the team's performance.
"I think the crowd should stick with us because of the manner in which we played," Kean said.
"I thought we grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and that they scored against the run of play.
"Like last week (in a 1-1 draw at QPR) we came back, and I said to the lads that sometimes you have runs of consecutive games where you don't get everything you should.
"We got a point last week, but they can look themselves in the mirror today and pat themselves on the back because they gave it every single ounce they had.
"If we keep doing that, then we will get much more than we did today."
