Kean re-iterates Blackburn stance on Samba

Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean is adamant that Christopher Samba is not for sale.

The 27-year old French-born Congo centre-back has been linked with an Ewood Park departure for months now with the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham, QPR and Paris Saint-Germain showing interest but Kean insists he is going nowhere.

"He's not for sale, it's as simple as that," he told the Lancashire Telegraph.

"He'll be back in again and hopefully ready for Everton."

Kean's comments come just a short time after Samba indicated to French paper L'Equipe that he was set to depart when he said: "It is time for a change."
