Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean will investigate claims of a bust-up between his coaching staff and fans during the Carling Cup win over Newcastle United.
New assistant head coach Paul Clement has been accused of directing a four-letter word towards fans behind the dug-out as they targeted Kean during the 4-3 win over Newcastle in the Carling Cup.
Kean denied any knowledge of the incident taking place but has promised to investigate the matter.
"I was not aware of that but I will certainly investigate it," insisted Kean.
"If anything occurred I will certainly investigate it and speak with our stadium safety officer."
