Blackburn Rovers boss Steve has revealed the club's owners are upset with protesting fans.

Despite support from the owners, Kean faces a much harder task to win over an increasing number of fans.

More protests are planned for next Sunday's home clash with Tottenham. But Kean says the owners are not impressed with those who are trying to force him out.

He said: "The owners are disappointed with the fans. They find it difficult to believe that in tough times the fans don't get behind the players.

"The only way to turn it around is with results and climbing the table.

"Hopefully with wins we can turn things round."
