Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean feels selling Phil Jones to Manchester United has contributed to their struggles this season.

They could come face to face with their old pal at Old Trafford today.

Kean said: "It's been very hard. We had Jermaine Jones on loan as well, who we couldn't sign.

"Phil would have made a massive difference. But he left and Jermaine went back."
