Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean admits Junior Hoilett's new deal still has some work to do.

There are a number of issues still to be resolved, including the subject of a release clause, but Kean is hopeful.

He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "It has dragged on. But I am meeting with one of our directors today where I am hoping I will get some good news.

"We are confident there will be progress very soon."
