Kazim Richards slams Germany's sportsmanship

Fatih Terim's side had levelled the scores at 2-2 only for Philipp Lahm to secure victory for Germany in the 90th minute.

The Bayern Munich man's goal was vigorously protested by the Turks, as Joachim Low's men had played on despite the fact Kazim-Richards was down injured.

And the London-born forward believes it was a cheap way to win, and hopes the German players will realise their error.

"I think they will be a bit upset with the goal that won the game for them," he said. "This whole tournament's been based around fair play, but that wasn't fair.

"We kicked the ball out for a few teams throughout the tournament and it would be nice for them to have done it. It's a bit upsetting as I was down. I'm not the sort of guy to go down if I'm not injured and as you saw I was subbed off."
