Kazenga LuaLua delighted to be playing again at Newcastle

Fit-again Kazenga Lualua is chasing a first team breakthrough at Newcastle United.

The Congo-born winger was on the fringes of the first team last season under Sam Allardyce and Kevin Keegan and ended the season in the senior pool.

The younger brother of ex-Toon star Lomana shattered his ankle in a friendly with Newcastle Blue Star in August and has only just returned.

Kazenga told the Evening Chronicle: "It's was nice to get back out there. It's a long time since I have played football.

"I was really happy with it. It's great to be back, but it was also a bit disappointing to lose the game.

"It's been a long road for me. I was injured before that and then I was hurt again in my comeback game against Blue Star.

"I was out for three and half months. I was very disappointed, but that's football and I can only learn from it. I'm happy to be back now."
