Kawasaki Frontale came from two goals down to defeat FC Tokyo 3-2 in the J-League on Sunday.
Tokyo midfielder Yasuyuki Konno opened the scoring in the 28th minute before teammate Naohiro Ishikawa doubled the lead ten minutes after half-time.
But when Brazilian defender Bruno Quadros was sent off for Tokyo in the 57th minute and his compatriot Juninho converted the ensuing penalty, Kawasaki were with some hope.
Hiroyuki Taniguchi levelled in the 66th minute before Renatinho grasped the lead three minutes later.
The scores remained that way giving Kawasaki a vital third win on the trot and fourth place on the league table whilst the loss saw FC Tokyo drop to 14th.
