Vitor Junior got the home side off to a great start with a goal in the 17th minute but the scoreline remained at 1-0 until deep into the second half.

In the 63rd minute, Takuro Yajima doubled Kawasaki’s lead before Juninho made it 3-0 ten minutes later.

The rout was completed eleven minutes from time through Masaru Kurotsu before Kyoto managed a consolation goal a minute from time through Koken Kato.

The win pushed Kawaskai to seventh on the table whilst Kyoto drops to 13th.
