Kashima Antlers have remained on top of the J-League table by defeating Kashiwa Reysol 2-1 on Saturday.
Striker Shinzo Koroki did the damage early for the Antlers with goals in the 8th and 11th minutes before Kashiwa's Yuki Otsu got one back five minutes after the break.
The win takes Kashima's record to eight wins, 2 draws and a loss from 11 matches, giving them 26 points and four victories in a row.
Kashiwa suffered their third straight defeat and remain in second-last place on nine points.
