Kashima Antlers have jumped back to the top of the J-League with a 2-0 win at JEF United Ichihara. A 15th minute goal from Takuya Nozawa set up the victory for the Antlers and when Mitsuo Ogasawara doubled the advantage in the 59th minute the contest was essentially over.
The Antlers are now undefeated in their last seven outings, having lost just once in the opening nine games of the season.
JEF United have now fallen to second last on the table with just seven points and one win.
