Karlsson wants out of Sunderland for regular football

The agent of David Moberg Karlsson claims his client is looking to make a permanent move away from Sunderland. The 20-year-old winger only moved to the Stadium of Light in the summer of 2013.

Karlsson's representative Per Jonsson said in The Journal: "What David wants is to find a club that would have him as they see him, as the offensive player he is.

"The problem lies in that Sunderland must take a loss. They do not want to sell him out (cheaply).

"Of course, he is expensive. What he's worth, I would not go into.

"But if you buy a sofa for 10,000 Krona you do not put it out for 300 Krona a few weeks later. Everything is in Sunderland's hands.

"We can get a loan, but we're not so keen on it. I do not think David wants to be loaned out again.

"We want to find a permanent solution so David gets peace and quiet for a while."

Jonsson added: "He wants lira. However, no Italian club is interested in David when they have not seen him play senior football.

"He needs a league where he gets space, football that suits him."
