Karanka in frame for Palace managerial vacancy

Aitor Karanka's agents have confirmed he is in talks with a 'foreign' club about a managerial role, with reports in England claiming that is Crystal Palace, reports SkySports. Karanka is currently without a club after leaving Real Madrid in the summer - where he served as assistant to Jose Mourinho before his move to Chelsea.

Karanka's agents Gestifute, run by Jorge Mendes, have now told Sky Sports: "Aitor Karanka is in contact with a foreign club and he is currently meeting them."

Palace are expected to make an appointment during the international break, ahead of their next clash with Hull City.
