Kapo determined to quit Wigan

Olivier Kapo is determined to quit Wigan Athletic at the end of the season.

The former Birmingham City midfielder told 10 Sport: "I was never liked at Wigan, and it's been like this since day one. Soon, I was disappointed by the performances of the team.

"I really want to revive my career and I know I'm not dead. I want to drop my bags at a good club, where they will trust me."

Kapo admits he fancies a return to France. Everton boss David Moyes is set to swoop for Rennes midfielder Stephane Mbia.

L'Equipe says Moyes took in Rennes' clash with Bordeaux this week and was spotted sitting alongside Ralf Isenegger, who is Mbia's lawyer.

Mbia has been a long-term target for Moyes and came close to joining Everton in January.
