Kapo desperate for Wigan exit

Olivier Kapo is desperate for a move away from Wigan Athletic.

"I never felt good in Wigan. I have played 13 times," Kapo told the French press.

"When I arrived, I stayed several months at the hotel with my children. This does not put me in the best condition. When Sunderland approached me the coach told me 'You do not leave'. The problem is that since he does not rely on me.

"Roma enquired about me around the beginning of the season when the team was not better. The contact dimmed when they started winning.

"Spanish and Italian clubs are interested in me but that is for the summer.

"Me, I want a loan this winter to play, even in France. I am ready to face any challenges. If I stay at Wigan I will have a blank year.

"Yes we can say that [it is the worst moment of my career]. I'm 28, I am still able to play at a high level. I'm at a turning point in my career. I want to play football and, I repeat, to be judged as a footballer."
