Kanu, Utaka, Nugent all set for Portsmouth sales

New Portsmouth owner Ali Al Faraj is planning a January clearout.

The People says Kanu, midfielder John Utaka and striker David Nugent are just three of those who will be shunted by new owner Ali Al-Faraj's regime.

Agents working for the club have started the task of finding new homes for the unwanted stars, with some being offered to rich Middle East outfits.

One Pompey insider revealed: "There are five players here on more than £50,000-a-week and everybody knows some of them are going to have to go."
