Nwankwo Kanu is edging closer to the exit door at Portsmouth.
The Nigerian striker, 30, who top scored with 12 goals last term, has been offered a one-year extension to his current contract - but he wants a two-year deal.
Kanu, a target for Ajax and Werder Bremen, said: "If I can't get a two-year contract, then I am prepared to leave. I have done my best and shown my commitment to Portsmouth. I have fulfilled my own side of our agreement and it is up to them now."
