Fulham are set to sign Kansas City Wizards striker Eddie Johnson.
The USA national squad are currently holding a training camp ahead of friendlies against Sweden and Mexico.
But Kansas City Wizards ace Johnson has been given permission to leave the camp in California and is heading to Europe to talk terms.
The club believed to be closing on his signature are Fulham as they have been holding talks with Major League Soccer, who own the registration of all footballers that play in America's top-flight.
Johnson is 23 and is rated as one of the best players in his homeland, but he now seemingly feels it is time for him to try his look abroad.
