Forward Herculez Gomez has been traded to the Kansas City Wizards from the Colorado Rapids in exchange for allocation money.
"I feel good. It's sad to leave a great place like Colorado," said Gomez, who joined the team prior to the 2007 season after winning the MLS Cup in 2005 with the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Gomez was a member of the US Team that participated in Copa America 2007.
