Kansas City Wizards' Kamara bounces back from miss to net twice

Kansas City Wizards forward Kei Kamara has bounced back from a simple miss against the LA Galaxy late last month to score a double against the Chicago Fire.

The 24-year old Sierra Leone attacker netted twice in the second half to enable the Wizards to grab a point with a 2-2 draw with the Fire and he was delighted he was able to put that miss behind him.

"It's kind of a blessing to have kind of a do-over less than a month apart (from my miss). This is a game that I love to play, and when something happens (like my miss), I just let it go," he said. "I'm not somebody that is going to kill myself about it. It was great work by Teal (Bunbury). The ball came across, I just took a deep breath, and it was the same weather and everything, but I was wearing different shoes this time. This time I was wearing blue shoes."

Kamara added that he was happy with his current form but hoped to turn that into victories for his side.

"I feel good right now. The people around me are doing a great job, I just need to put myself in the right position," he added. "I'm happy the way we're playing right now offensively. The five goals I have is good, but we need to start getting wins."
