Kansas City Wizards free agent Kei Kamara has begun a trial with German 2.Bundesliga outfit Greuther Furth.
The 25-year Sierra Leonean striker has been training in France since the end of the MLS season but is now trying his luck with the Bavarian club.
Kamara emigrated to the United States when he was a teenager and commenced his career with USL Premier Development club Orange County Blue Star in 2004 before gaining a MLS contract with Columbus Crew in the 2006 SuperDraft. From there, he moved to San Jose, playing with the Earthquakes for the first half of 2008 until he was traded to Houston Dynamo before joining the Wizards in September last year.
