Kansas City defender Chance Myers will miss 10-12 weeks of action following surgery to repair a fracture of his fifth metatarsal (toe). Myers suffered the injury while training in Bradenton, Fla. and will not accompany his teammates to Guadalajara, Mexico this week according to official team blog Hillcrest Road.
Myers was the 1st overall selection in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft after Myers signed with MLS as part of the Generation Adidas program.
