Fredi Kanoute has urged Sevilla management to keep the current squad together.

Several of Kanoute's teammates have been linked with moves away in the summer and the striker said: "As much as possible, we should keep most of the players, because we must not forget everything we have achieved in recent years.

"We will have to add others as it is clear that there will be departures, because it is normal. But we have to try to keep most of the players here."

Of his own future, Kanoute added: "Right now I am not thinking of any exit. I am happy here, I renewed my contract this year."
