Tottenham Hotspur are set to reward Harry Kane with a lucrative new contract.

The Daily Mail is of the belief that the 22-year-old striker will put pen to a deal which will see his wages doubled to £100,000 per week, making him the North London club's highest-paid player ever.

Spurs currently have a weekly wage limit of £80,000-a-week but there will be an exception for Kane who has been banging in the goals over the past two seasons.

The England international only signed a five-year deal in February last year but his 59 goals in all competitions in the past two campaigns has prompted Spurs to tie him down to new and improved terms in a bid to stave off interest from the likes of Manchester United who have shown considerable interest.
