Kane: Second hat-trick goal one of my best for Spurs!

Harry Kane described the second goal of Sunday's hat-trick as one of the best of his Tottenham Hotspur career.

The 23-year-old England striker met a bouncing Christian Eriksen corner with a remarkable piece of technical quality to hammer home a left-footed volley in the 32nd minute as he fired home a treble within 37 minutes of their 4-0 win.

"For the first goal the ball just rebounded to me and I tried to get a quick shot off and it managed to sneak in," he said on Spurs TV.

"The second goal was one of the best of my career, a strike with the left foot and as a striker, you always want a bit of luck and I got that with the third goal. It was great to finish off with the fourth as well and to see Dele on the scoresheet."

Regarding the goal, Kane added: "I was hoping Christian was going to put the ball on to my right foot!

"I don't know if he was passing to me or Jan because Jan was behind me but I thought I'd have a swing at it with my left foot and luckily Victor jumped over it as well. It was nice to see it go into the bottom corner.

"Victor had a joke with me afterwards saying he should have flicked it in! After his goal on Thursday night he probably wanted another but he left that one for me!"
