Kane Lewis has signed pro terms with Liverpool.

The 18-year-old has been a regular for the Reds' academy side after arriving from Brentford in 2014.

Lewis attracted plenty of interest during his time with the Bees but Liverpool saw off competition from Brighton and Norwich.

A statement on the club's website read: "Liverpool have confirmed Kane Lewis has signed a professional contract with the club.

"The U18s defender has committed his future to the Reds' Academy by agreeing the deal."
