Kane keen to use 90,000 Wembley to Spurs advantage

Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane is confident that 90,000 Spurs fans at Wembley Stadium can lead the North London club to a desirable result against Gent in the Europa League.

The North Londoners lost the first leg of their last-32 tie 1-0 in Belgium last week, and they will be aiming to overturn the deficit at English football's headquarters tonight.

Spurs' form at Wembley has been far from satisfactory this season, having already suffered Champions League losses to Monaco and Bayer Leverkusen, but Kane feels they can improve dramatically.

"White Hart Lane is obviously a lot smaller and the crowd are on top of you so we have a great atmosphere there," Kane said.

"But at Wembley it is even better. Even though the fans are not as close to the pitch, having 90,000 there is incredible. I think it's a full house again so hopefully we can use it to our advantage.

"Of course people will try to use Wembley as an excuse but we definitely won't be looking at it like that. We won the last time we played there so we have to use that. Every time we play there we feel a bit more comfortable and used to the surroundings.

"And hopefully we will be going back even more times before the end of the season. I play there internationally as well it there so it all helps."
