Harry Kane has labelled Tottenham's 5-1 thrashing of Bournemouth on Sunday as Spurs' best performance of the Premier League season to date.
Bournemouth stunned the visitors by taking the lead in the first minute through Matt Ritchie.
However, the joy was short lived for the home side with Kane bagging a hat-trick, while Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela also found the back of the net in Tottenham's impressive win.
"We started a bit sloppy, they came racing out of the blocks and got the early goal but we showed our character to get back level straight after that and I think it was the turning point in the game," Kane told Sky Sports.
"If we let them keep the lead for too long, it would've been tough for us because they're not a bad side but we got the goal and the other two followed not long after.
"It's a tough place to come and they're no turnovers. Bournemouth play good football and we needed to be on top of our games which we were today.
"I think it's one of the best performances we've had all season and the scoreline showed that."
