Tottenham striker Harry Kane admits his road to success this season has been difficult.
As a child he experienced knockbacks by both Arsenal and Spurs - and even once he did make the grade he was still having to prove himself.
He had loan spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich and Leicester before Tim Sherwood provided the chance to become a Tottenham star last term.
Kane has never looked back, and explained: "I think that self-belief is a massive thing in football. If you don't believe in yourself, not many others will.
"It's hard work to become a footballer nowadays, especially coming through an academy. There's a lot of money in football and if a team hasn't got an answer, they just go and buy someone. They think that's the answer but it's not always the case."
