Manchester United are interested in Espanyol goalkeeper Carlos Kameni.
Ferguson's brother, Martin, has watched Kameni several times this season.
Kameni said: "Manchester United have been looking at me for a while. I'm happy in Barcelona for the moment but it's natural that a player wants to progress and the Premier League is a dream for any player."
