Kamara to jump at Norwich chance after gaining clearance from MLS

Kei Kamara is looking forward to giving his best for Norwich City after completing his loan move from Sporting Kansas City.

The 28-year old Sierra Leone international will spend the remainder of the season with the Canaries with the view to a permanent deal and is hoping to follow on with the form that saw him score 30 goals and provide 19 assists over the past three MLS seasons.

"Finally the time is here. I'm so excited," he told Canaries Player after obtaining international clearance. "I've just got to get there, try to impress in training and try to get myself in a position where I can be on the field.

"I'm going to make it difficult for the coach, to have options and to give me a chance when the time comes.

"It's really not that hard to keep yourself motivated, saying 'hey, I'm going to be playing in the Premier League'. It's a good motivation when you're in the workout room.

"I loved my time at Kansas," he added. "It's the best place for me; the best three years. I've had so much fun.

"But when you have a chance like this, to play in the best league in the world, there's no way they were not going to let me live my dream a little bit."
