Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou believes it is up to the players to get the season back on track despite the fact he admires and respects new manager Guus Hiddink.
"The players need to do their job on the pitch and the manager is there to correct the players and give direction," he told Sky Sports News.
"As a player we need to make the first step and help the new manager to be a success.
"He's a nice guy and I'm really excited about working with him."
