Nikola Kalinic has obtained the work permit required to begin his career with Blackburn Rovers.

The 21-year old joined the Rovers from Hajduk Split for £6million but required a work permit before the move was made official.

Now the Croatian international is set to begin his career at Ewood Park which was confirmed on the club's official website.

"Rovers are pleased to announce that they have been successful in their application for a work permit for Hajduk Split striker Nikola Kalinic," a statement read.
