Kalinic to leave Blackburn for Dnipro

Blackburn Rovers striker Nikola Kalinic is set to leave the club for Ukrainian outfit Dnipro.

The 23-year old Croatia international has failed to become a regular fixture at Ewood Park since his arrival from Hajduk Split in 2009 and is about to depart Lancashire to join former Tottenham and Real Madrid manager Juande Ramos.

Rovers boss Steve Kean confirmed that Kalinic's shift is expected to be finalised very soon.

"Niko Kalinic's transfer is just about to be completed in the Ukraine," he said.
