Nikola Kalinic is off the mark at Blackburn Rovers.
The Croatian striker made up for his omission from his country's forthcoming international commitments by scoring his first goal in the blue and white of Rovers and creating another in a 4-1 behind-closed-doors friendly win over the Clarets.
Kalinic has made an understandably slow start to life in England after his £6million switch from Hajduk Split, due to a combination of injury and inexperience, but Rovers believe the striker will score goals in the Premier League given time.
