Portsmouth have clinched agreement for Hajduk Split striker Nikola Kalinic.
The Daily Mail says Portsmouth manager Paul Hart has moved swiftly to fill the gap left by Peter Crouch's £9million departure to Tottenham by agreeing a £5.5m fee with Hajduk Split for Kalinic.
Kalinic said: "My dream has come true. It is not yet finalised but God willing everything will be okay. I will be going to England to have a medical and sign the contract.
"Portsmouth is a big club and the Premier League is the best in the world.
"Playing in Portsmouth would be a great challenge for me, an opportunity to prove myself and to justify the faith shown in me, particularly by people like Paul Hart who wanted me to come."
