Zeljko Kalac has had his contract with AC Milan terminated by mutual consent. The 36-year old former Australian international has fallen out of favour under new manager Leonardo and will now look for a new club after being replaced by Flavio Roma from Monaco.
A statement on Milan's official website said: "AC Milan announce they have rescinded the contract of Zeljko Kalac by mutual consent.
"In thanking him for how much he has given in the course of his time in the Rossoneri colours, Milan give Kalac their best wishes for the future.
"AC Milan also announce they have bought on a permanent basis the sporting rights of Flavio Roma, who has signed a contract until June 30, 2010."
