Marketing experts believe Kaka could earn Real Madrid a stunning £70 million-a-year thanks to his global profile.

Real coughed up £60 million to sign the Brazilian from AC Milan and Simon Chandwick, a partner in sports business consultancy Weber Shandwick Sport, said: "Kaka belongs to the same group as Beckham in terms of trade impact."

Chandwick says Beckham was worth over £350 million to Real during the four years he was with the club and says Kaka is capable of making a similar impact.
