The Ballon d'Or winner limped off in evident pain during last night's 1-1 draw with Reggina at San Siro.
He was rushed to hospital for X-Rays after coach Carlo Ancelotti admitted he was "worried," but no fractions or lesions were found.
However, more tests have shown a sprained left foot that will keep him out of action for "at least two weeks," according to a statement released on Milan's official club website.
