Brazilian legend Kaka admits his time with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was confusing.
Kaka, now recently retired, played for Mourinho at Real Madrid.
And he told UOL: "Mourinho was a very difficult coach for me. When I thought he was going to give me a chance, it did not happen, and in my head I could show him I was capable of performing ... but it did not work.
"I trained, fought and prayed," he lamented, "but I did not get satisfaction on the field. The main joy I had with him was receiving his message when I left Madrid: 'You are one of the most professional players I've ever had'."
