Kaka insists he still believes AC Milan can challenge for future titles.

"Milan are a great club, I still believe in this project," Kaka said in an interview with Aujourd'hui Sports.

"Everyone knows that our team needs to be reinforced and rejuvenated. Emerson has already left and Maldini is retiring.

"The ideal solution would be a mix of youngsters and experienced players, like when I arrived in 2003."

Kaka also hopes Yoann Gourcuff returns to Milan from his loan with Bordeaux.

"I am happy for the great season that he is having. He has scored a lot of goals, doing well for France as well.

"He suffered with us, but if he comes back it would be different," concluded the Brazilian.
