Kaka has declared David Beckham as "essential" for AC Milan.

The Brazilian is desperate to see Milan secure an agreement with LA Galaxy for the England ace.

"Maybe in the beginning, he was a purchase mainly driven by marketing, but the truth is that David is now essential for us," said Kaka. "I hope that Milan will reach an agreement with the Americans because David is a player who can give us a big hand in this and the coming season."
