Kaka: Beckham must be in England World Cup squad
Real Madrid star Kaka has urged Fabio Capello that he must include David Beckham in England’s World Cup squad for next year.
The Brazil international, who is happy to see the return of Beckham to former club AC Milan, believes the LA Galaxy midfielder is a must for the England team as well as being one of the smartest players he has shared the pitch with.
"David Beckham is one of the most intelligent players I have ever played alongside,” Kaka said.
"I am pleased he is going back to Milan, even though I am no longer there.
"I see that as a great move by Milan to take him again because he will be important to them, as he showed last season.
"But Milan will also be important to him with the World Cup coming up.
"Through playing in Milan in Serie A and Europe, David will be in the right condition next summer, and that is certain to help England at the World Cup.
"That's why Capello must include David in his squad. There is no-one else who has the experience and quality of Beckham.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star is currently gearing up for this weekend’s MLS Cup final where the Galaxy take on Real Salt Lake at Seattle’s Qwest Field on November 22.

spot on, cj, exactly what i was thinking.
He may be old, he may have no pace, he may not dribble...
He's still one of the few England players who can kick a ball.
He's actually able to see a player in the box, and kick the ball to that player.
I don't think it's that. Wherever David Beckham has gone, everyone has wanted to be his pal. I can imagine him being a cool dude that loves football, that's the general vibe I've always got from him. England could do far worse by taking him, I can imagine he still has one or 2 sensational free kicks left in him.
