Kaka will be available for AC Milan preseason after undergoing knee surgery.
"I did it for the good of the Selecao," explained Brazil boss Carlos Dunga, who has clashed with Milan many times over Kaka's international duty.
"Imagine our responsibility in case he suffered another injury.
"His club explained he had to go 20 days without training, so this means he would not have been in shape to play against Paraguay and would've had little time to prepare for Argentina."
