Geman legend Oliver Kahn says Bayern Munich can solve their goalkeeper problems by signing Juventus hero Gigi Buffon. Bayern have struggled between the posts this year, alternating between Michael Rensing and Hans-Jorg Butt.

"Bayern have great ambitions and when you want to realise objectives you need to have one of the best goalkeepers in the world," Kahn told Bild.

"It's always a bet with the youngsters like in the case with Rensing. As for Jorg Butt, he's 35 and Bayern has to think about an alternative."
