Bayern Munich legend Oliver Kahn has paid tribute to Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
The France captain lifted the World Cup trophy on Sunday.
Kahn told Goal: "I saw some solid goalkeepers at the World Cup, who almost perfectly mastered the many basic disciplines of the game.
"For example, Hugo Lloris is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and convinces with an excellent presence and a positional game. Brave and aggressive.
"The young Englishman Jordan Pickford is the one who gets closer to the 'goal players' as I defined it after the final. In addition to his strong reflexes, I especially noticed his excellent passing."
